Visible Mending represents a new perspective that darning is an improvement, not a reduction in quality. Favorite pieces that are dear to our hearts become more valuable through the attention we give them.
For us, the journey is the destination when it comes to embroidery. Visible Mending is a process that can be interrupted and continued when new needs arise.

Techniques are essential. The type of darning should be adapted to the material and type of damage.
Sashiko and Boro are suitable for jeans, shirts, dresses and coats. For tricot and wool we need other techniques, such as weaving stitches, Scottish darning, Swiss darning, in combination with other stitches: loop stitch, mattress stitch, knot stitch, ...
