Degree in Psychology, University of Salzburg, MSc, 2023
Diploma as a life and social counsellor in private practice since 2018
Studied English and Slavic languages in Salzburg, graduated with a Mag.phil. degree (1992)

Travelled and studied in the Philippines to research Filipino literature, arts and crafts and textile techniques (1984 - 2000)
Since 2000 Numerous trips to India, Japan, Taiwan, Georgia, Romania to learn local textile techniques, especially embroidery, mending and primary weaving techniques and attendance of numerous training courses on embroidery.

I am particularly interested in interpreting traditional textile techniques in a contemporary way and experimenting with unusual materials and colours in order to create unconventional, sustainable works.

I teach embroidery, darning, sustainable use of textiles and upcycling:
