Otto's Jeans
Otto doesn't wear patched clothes, and certainly not visibly embroidered ones. He wears good quality, but they sometimes tear when he's gardening and after many years. Then he patches up the tears from behind with interfacing and they're fine for a few years. When that doesn't work anymore, I'm happy to take them under my care and patch and embroider them. In very subtle colors with only very simple stitches - not too conspicuous and not too colorful: (but still visible!) Good jeans - firm and without elastane - are the best basis for creative repairs. Let's see if Otto will wear them after all.
